As many of you may know, the break is here and that means that we have survived the first official term on Elysium Borrowed. We’d like to give a big thank you to those who have participated in everything we’ve offered this term, a warm welcome for those who are new, and we have high hopes that next term will be even better. Now that term has ended and the classroom corridor now closed there’s one thing left for us to do… hire professors! Be rest assured that there have been some major changes within the staff structure and this position only requires someone willing to write lessons. You may apply here or click the link in the header at any time. Professor apps will be closed and new professors announced on the 28th of August.

And as you all may be well aware, we have traditionally hosted term awards. What you may not be used to is the categories we’re offering. Not only are there new awards to win but the voting system works differently as well. Each category is its own poll which means that you can see in real time how your vote affects each nomination and its standings. To get to the shiny new trophy room where all of the awards will be voted for and kept, click here.

Currently, you’ll note that Special Power apps are closed. Staff is currently revamping a few of these powers which means we’ll be announcing the new release shortly. Expect a few changes, especially those who have been granted a power already.

Finally, the house cup winner. It was a close match but Hufflepuff prevailed and, showing their house spirit, they managed to snag the cup with a lot of hard work and dedication. Ravenclaw came in as a close second nearly taking the cup right from their grasp at the last minute. It was challenging for all, though, and we would like to thank those who put in a great deal of effort to help their houses. Wonderful work, everyone!
